Target hard spots in 4-10 feet of water with the Dt10 and get up shallow around docks with the chatterbait and hold on! I didn't find much today, but the water is still cold(36 degrees Mid Lake) . I will try all new areas next trip. With the water still cold there is a lot of dead space, but if you keep looking you will run into them eventually.

Perch are putting on the weight getting ready to spawn. Start out deeper and work shallow until you find the large schools. Lots of 10-12" perch with some pushing 14". Drop shot small soft plastics if you don't have live minnows or if you run out. The larger fish were found in 7-10 feet of water.

Casted a drop shot to the areas that appeared to be beds. They didn't seem to be locked down. So staying back and making long casts was effective.
