Largemouth BassTechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureDocksBIGGG Pre spawn largemouth! Target hard spots in 4-10 feet of water with the Dt10 and get up shallow around docks with the chatterbait and hold on! Once you get a bite fish around there will be groups of em all staged up and ready to eat.

Yellow PerchTechniqueVertical Jigging Mid Depth (10-19')SeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureLedgesCayuga can be tough this time of year, but there is just so much area to cover. I didn't find much today, but the water is still cold(36 degrees Mid Lake) . I will try all new areas next trip. With the water still cold there is a lot of dead space, but if you keep looking you will run into them eventually.

Yellow PerchTechniqueDrop ShotSeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationPerch are putting on the weight getting ready to spawn. Start out deeper and work shallow until you find the large schools. Lots of 10-12" perch with some pushing 14". Drop shot small soft plastics if you don't have live minnows or if you run out. The larger fish were found in 7-10 feet of water.

Panfish / BluegillTechniqueShallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6')SeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationFinding these yellow perch on an Aqua-vu micro revolution was key. Take a look at the video of all of them around the boat! I then picked off a bunch using the Z-Man micro finesse shroomz jig head and shad fryz in pearl and blue glimmer.

Largemouth BassTechniqueDrop ShotSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureDocksCruising around the dock we found cruising spawners. Casted a drop shot to the areas that appeared to be beds. They didn't seem to be locked down. So staying back and making long casts was effective.
