They were stuck to the bottom but schooled up. Using 2D sonar or Live scope to identify the rock piles has been effective. Jiggle the minnow about 3-4 feet above the pile and they could come off the bottom to munch it. I did catch a couple on a 3.5" spunk shad, but they CRUSHED the Yum FF Sonar Minnow!

Targeted schools of small mouth on deep humps and ledge breaks around 28-33 feet. Worked the bait between 3-6 feet above the bottom and they would come up off the bottom to eat. Schools were not actively chasing bait balls, sticking closer to desired structure.
