When the cabin fever has become more than you can take but the fish are not up ready to spawn yet, look to the channel swing banks off the main lake to find bass. A jig with a craw trailer is really effective since the fish are still pretty lethargic and are not wanting to chase.

Fished upstream of the west fork boat ramp to the Smyrna pump house. Caught 3 lm bass and 1 spotted bass. Water temps were from 46° to 50°. All fish were caught in 8-10 feet close to rock.
