Threw walking baits for post spawn smallmouth in 12-17 FOW. grass with larger boulders. Nice way to break up the monotony of the dropshot /ned rig grind. Fish were hitting even with a fairly good chop on the water.

Did have some blow ups on frogs but no hook ups. The water was stained more than usual due to recent rains but the water level was about normal

I don’t think the brand matters. The one I threw that day was a gold willow with a small silver Colorado. Work it through the grass and rip it through when it gets hung up.
