The fish were a little more spread out as fish appear to be entering their fall patterns. We had air temperatures in the high 40s/low 50s at night which is cooling the water fast. Bass were caught on weed edges in 12-16 fow with healthy green vegetation during the day. In the evening, I caught bass patrolling the flats adjacent to emergent vegetation. Again, the 6th sense hybrid jig in grass mutant with a green pumpkin burst stroker craw was the way to go.

My parents live on the lake and I watched boat after boat come thru the reeds with Texas rigs, moving baits etc. I noticed that the reeds were getting beat up pretty hard and producing less and less fish. While casting off the dock (and from the boat), I threw my jig, ned rig, dropshot a few feet from the edge of the reeds and shook slack. Be patient with pressured fish. Slow presentations such as ned rigs and drop shots produced the most offshore bites
