Ended up finally being able to catch my first Lake Erie smallmouth of 2024 doing exactly how I caught my last smallmouth of 2023! Dragging a football jig when the water temperatures are low is a sneaky tactic! I am a big fan of creating that contrast with the PBJ skirt matched up with a coppertreuse trailer! I highly recommend it!!
