Largemouth BassTechniqueSpinnerbaitsSeasonSpring (Pre-Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationFishing Opener 2022. Water temps around 55, but up to 60 in some shallows. Bass appeared mostly prespawn, but caught a couple up shallow on a Yamamoto Hula Grub near cattails. Then caught a bunch of medium and small bass just outside of a spawning bay on moving baits, primarily a spinner bait, but also a jerkbait. Was windy and cool.

Largemouth BassTechniqueWacky RigsSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureSubmerged VegetationFound fish in weeds in 8-11' of water. Many bluegills spawning, smaller gills out in weeds and likely why bass were there. Bass looked healthy so guessing already spawned? Water temps have been all over so not sure on the bass spawn this year.

CrappieTechniqueIce Fishing SpoonsSeasonIceStructureOpen Water/BasinSpent a couple of hours looking before locating a school in about 25 feet of water. They were relating to the hard-to-soft bottom transition on the edges of the main basin. I was able to drill right on top of them and sit for a half hour and pull half dozen fish out of the school. Not skittish at all today.
