Biting killer early morning. Shad spawns been nuts but the bite isn't over after morning. Still catchable. Throwing under black floated docks(heat absorbing) a long as it's a lil windy magdraft kills.but I've really been wearing em out on a pulsejig! Fav new leadhead/scrounger .

Most bass are moving out of the pockets and back to the main lake. Schooling on shad first thing in the morning. Main lake points with flats are key. Big bass are still around the bream beds in the pockets

We started the morning fishing the shad spawn. We were targeting this on main-lake red clay banks. We caught fish throwing a spinnerbait up near the bank and reeling it back to the boat. Once the shad quit spawning we moved into coves and started targeting fry guarders. We found these around shallow docks with brush under them. We caught the bass guarding fry with a wacky rigged senko. When the sun was out we were able to see specific bass and cast to them and catch them.

Actually a neko with a small nail weight not my favorite by a long shot, but you gotta fish what works. Black floats are primo. They're under there snugglin couldn't find any on schools. Tried underspin.no good. Spinnerbaits are hot too..a few quality fish. If anybody wants to go for a few in the evening, link up
