Threw the a-rig when nothing else worked. Slowed down after I felt a few fish hit the rig and miss. That proved to be the ticket as the first had time to catch up to the baits.

Spotted bass will pile up on dock pilings on the front corners of docks with deep water on them. Every now and then bites will come further back on the dock, but locate docks with at least 15 feet of water at the edge of them. Fishing a jerk bait or a shakey head right up against them can produce a lot of numbers.
