Fished from 11am-3pm. The milfoil trawler was out, so it was hard to tell what it had gone through vs left untouched since there was still a lot of vegetation(submerged and floating clumps). Started shallow but decided to fish the submerged weedlines instead(8-15ft of water). Most consistent bite was on the Yamatanuki, letting it sink, popping it and slowly retrieving/repeating. I also threw a chatterbait and dropshot, but was much less successful with those.

Finding submerged grass and shade-lines was key. Fish were pushed up into the grass and all the bites came in and close to shaded grass. Flipping a creature bait like the Big Bite Craw Tube worked, senko style baits worked as well. Weight size ranged anywhere from 1/4-3/8 oz usually un-pegged. Wind seemed to kill the bite, so looking for protected areas or calm days was important. Working the bait just consisted of a couple of pops then letting the bait fall back to the bottom.
