Fish are relating close to the main lake still, there are fish a lot of places, but the most active ones seemed closer to the main lake. Look for big creeks and fish the first two or three cuts or dock stretches. Fish the front of the docks during high sun and post front conditions, and if clouds or rain moves in, fish the back of the docks. Fishing a structure jig is a great way to catch these fish. A little blue flake seems to be helping right now.

Bass moving a lot during this fall transition, so covering water is essential. Find docks in 12-20 feet of water and pull football jigs around rocks and brushpiles. In the morning and if the day is cloudy, using a black buzzbait rarely fails here as well. The bite is volatile, so one day it will be fantastic fishing and the next the bite could shut off, so change it up if something isn't working!
