One of my favourite ways to catch Canadian largemouth in heavy weeds and cover. I recommend 30 lb Vicious No Fade Braid and a 76MHMF St.Croix Legend Xtreme Flipping Stick (I chose 74HF as it's also popular and 76 wasn't an option in the dropdown). This presentation requires the best and most sensitive rods you can afford for ultimate feel and bite detection in heavy cover.

A great bait for covering water, especially during overcast days when fish are shallow and there's some wind. A 1/2 oz chatterbait with a Venom Lures donkey snatcher trailer and 30 lb braid is great for ripping through the deep coontail and weeds. The 7'2 HM Glass rod in eater the Mojo or Legend is a perfect rod for the job !
