We had been trolling for about 45 minutes about to wrap up the session. Hadn't gotten a single bite at the time. Kept going for another 50 feet and got a bite. Thought it was weeds at first. There was no fight. The walleye bit and held on. Realed in the fish and thought it was a northern at first. My uncle grabbed the net and we got it in the boat. It was a 28 inch walleye. Weighing about 9lbs.

Fished zippel bay this spring. Fish were piled against the reeds on the wind blown side. Spoons and swimbaits were key. Hammer copper for the spoons and green swimbaits were the main colors. Multiple slot fish as well.
