Lilly pads were still developing but enough weed growth that there were mats some mats so w looked for a frog bite on the NW half of the lake but didn't get any attention, all the fish that were boated came by throwing 1/2 oz jack hammer against the reeds with bites happening within first few cranks.

Hot windy and partly cloudy day. Better size bass in only 6-7 ft of water as the stain to this lake keeps weed from growing very deep. Casting a bladed jig and retrieving parallel to shore ticking the weeds was the way to go.
