Struggled to with the warmer weather. Fish were still in early pre spawn mode. Managed to get a reaction bite with deflecting a squarebill in lay downs. Also caught a nice smallmouth around a nothing bank in Wiggins bay with green pumpkin jackhammer.

Fishing on the Wisconsin River at Mazomanie boat landing south of Sauk City. Throwing an underspin into the channel and retrieving. Got a bite over a deeper hole on the flashy swimmer. Still snow on the ground and ice on the edges of the river.
