Smallmouth BassTechniqueUmbrella RigsSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureBouldersFun Weekend. Fish all over the place and are kinda tough to get to eat depending on the day. Did catch a few on the A-rig. I actually use the Hover X from PFI but the quad is awesome to!

Smallmouth BassTechniqueSoft Body Swimbaits (Small/Medium)SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureBouldersFished all new water today and found the same stuff working all over the lake. Boulders on flats held fish, transitions held a few wolf packs, and when it slicked off on this day i was able to catch a few fish on a popper as well. Okishira screw head with a swimbait was the best producer again, having to fish it really slow and count it down out deep was the ticket today. The victory 7'3" rod is pretty good stick for this setup can whip it a mile and it has some great backbone for the big ones.

Smallmouth BassTechniqueSoft Body Swimbaits (Small/Medium)SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructureBouldersFished the week of June 10th and the screwhead with the Keitech swimbait worked most of the week. Friday the berkley flatworm in green pumpkin on a drop shot was the best bait. Caught my biggest fish on the Z-Man MiniMax green pumpkin chatterbait with a berkley pit boss 3" summer craw trailer. Fishing 6 to 10 feet.

Smallmouth BassTechniqueNed RigsSeasonSpring (Spawn)StructureRock PileSpent a couple of days on the Pond and targeted Smallies in 6-10 fow. We fished in the wind so up sizing to 1/4oz jig was crucial for maintaining bottom contact. I switched from a couple of different ned jigheads to the 6th Sense football ned head and did not get hung up on rocks often, if at all which is important to not drive over the boulders you're targeting. I paired the 6th Sense ned with a Berley Lil Trooper in green pumpkin in the morning and later in the day, fished a very light weight wacky worm using the Yamamoto 5" senko in the blue pearl w silver flake color. The smallies seemed to be more aggressive with bright colors as the sun got higher in the sky
