Fished the High School World Championship on Pickwick Lake. Conditions were absolutely miserable, as the TVA was pulling almost zero current throughout the tournament. In other words, fishing was not good. I was able to scrounge up a few bites, including this 6lb 8oz traffic cone shaped bass. I caught her in 20ft in a flooded cypress field. It's super important to keep these fish healthy and comfortable in the livewell because the water is so warm. Make sure to use ice and G-juice!

Fished Villans and Vets Bass Tournament and caught most of the fish on ledges from JP Coleman to the mouth of Yellow Creek. Early part of the day, could only get them to bite drop shot and some Carolina rig. Mid-day, they started chasing deep diving crankbaits. Others in the tournament reported catching bass early in the back of coves or pockets with grass.
