The bass fishing bite was a bit slow. Was able to catch a few close to main lake points. Started fishing a grass flat when a Muskie hammered my swim jig. Not what I was going for but that got the heart pumping!

We we’re fishing from the shore and I was using a Neko rig. I cast it out to the flooded brush/brush piles and let it sink, watching my line on the way down in case a fish took it on the fall. I then hopped it and repeated the process. I caught two bass, one of which was a really decent 3 lb. 8 oz.!! I hope this helps!!
