Caught two limits Sunday morning. Crappie were supsended off of brush piles. Caught with tube on 1/16oz jig head. Cast past brush pile, count for an 8-10ft fall, then reel bait in. Can catch 2-5 fish for brush pile. Vertical jigging with pile over boat was also effective

It has begun, the annual summer shad slam fest at Pomme, find any extended flat area next to deep water, watch for gulls peck at surface or idle over areas looking for bait balls, once sundown happens wait for boils to happen at the water surface and pull any walking type lure through and you can catch as many white bass as you want. It’s a blast. They liked chrome and black. Was using cane walkers and spooks.
