Found ledges just off main channel with hard bottom, worked at spook from shore line to steep ledge.Large mouth were hanging on the edge of ledges . Smallies were hanging near rip rap. Drop shot with a zoom trick worm worked well.

Step ledges with rip rap, Being patient and working the bait back slow was the only way to get them too bite. With the Water going up fast, fish seem to be slightly less active. Bites were very light so having a good sharp hook made the difference tonight

We found a lot of small fish on ned rigs but on day two we put together a good 13lb bag flipping stained water along weed edges in 4-6 feet of water the key was to find irregularities in the weeds wether it be a large Lilly pad, opening in the weeds or brush in the weeds. The only thing that worked was flipping a lighter weight with a craw tube or big bite baits creature in a half black half blue pattern. A normal black blue fleck didn’t work. It seems as though the fish can see the separation of the colors better in dirty water and it got the job done! The fish were in a transition period, after the spawn they start to move out of their spawning pockets and into summer pattern. Look for banks and weed edges on the outsides of spawning pockets and work your way in.
