Move parallel with the ledges on the north end of the lake casting both a walking top water and a squarebill. Caught probably 20 bass in 1.5 hours. Move slowly both on the weed line and off of it. Fish were biting in both areas.

Was catching some smalies on rock/bolder flats but it had to be near a clean spot in the grass it seemed, seemed to bite best when calm and sunny. Long casts seemed to help get the bait away from the boat the best.

Was absolutely crushing them on a jig but for some reason they got off that pattern and started acting weird, the only flipping bait i could get to work the best was a Texas rigged Craw Tube. Very basic and a Minnesota staple, I was using a 3/8 Oz Woo Tungsten NEVER CHIP Flipping Weight with a VMC HD Ringed EWG 4/0 hook. Was flipping 30 lb Suffix 832 Braid to a 20 lb Suffix Advanced fluorocarbon leader. It wasn’t just docks it was also working really well at flipping grass near and in between!
