Was using a 1/2 ounce dark sleeper in wagasaki color. Was throwing it through back eddies on 12lb seagar line. Daiwa elite tws reel 6:2 on a megabass swingfire rod. Would cast as far as I could and slow roll it back through the backend of the eddie. Fish were sitting there waiting for a meal.

smallmouth making there way to spawn. Fishing water flow between rocks with spinnerbait. Subtle bites and spinnerbait was slow rolled through current. Using G-Loomis spinnerbait rod with Nichols spinnerbait in bone color. 6:2 shimano curado.

Slow rolling the A-rig almost dragging it on the bottom. Fish mainly down from eddies. Jerkbait, tube, and jig also caught fish.

slow drifting west bank. Sun warms that side faster so water was at 49 degrees. Slow drifting woo tungsten 1/6oz. ned head with zman trd meat dog color. Using 6'11" gloomis imx-pro ned rod, tatula 2000 reel, 20lb jbraid yellow, and 24" seagar invizx 8lb leader. Let ned drift with the current and every so often lift the ned off the bottom. Fish will usually strike it on the new movement.
