TechniqueBladed JigsSeasonSummerStructureRock PileThe Goldsboro section of the Susky is full of opportunity to catch both large and smallmouth bass. For Largies, toss a bandito bugg or a creature bait at docks for a chance to get that big bite, a top water plopper will also pull them but I prefer a Deps Buzzjet worked slower or a speed wake. For Smallmouth, look to the current breaks, rocks and points. Spinner baits, poppers and creature baits will produce well in those areas.

TechniqueShallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6')SeasonFallStructurePointsOur club had a tournament here this past weekend and WOW! 97" of Smallmouth madness won with 96.5 coming in second. What a great day on teh water. Fishing points and any place where 2 different surfaces/things met was key such as grass edges, clear/murky water lines etc.
