Largemouth BassTechniqueShakey HeadsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationWe caught a lot of smaller fish with the bigger ones coming on a wacky rigged Senko 5" but the bites were far and few in between. We caught fish pretty steady on a shakey head rigged 4" Senko with lighter line. Fished the haygrass in shallower water. The fish were on isolated patches and on the outside edge. Pic is of my daughter who went with me.

Largemouth BassTechniqueShakey HeadsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationBlue bird skies and 90 water temps made for a tough bite. All my better fish came on a shakey head with a 5" Yamamoto Kut tail in green pumpkin black flake. The key for me was having the Curado DC, which allowed me to throw a very light rig easily. I used to have to fish this with a spinning reel, but now that I have the DC's, you can throw just about anything, whether it be light or heavy, windy or dead. That DC is the absolute best reel I have ever owned. Highly recommend one, if you have not tried one yet. Sorry for no fish picture, but these 2 trees were so pretty I had to use them. Get outdoors and fish.

Largemouth BassTechniqueNeko RigsSeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationSlow day but wacky worm seemed to provide the most consistent bite in watermelon red with a light nail weight on a weedless hook. Throwing around the grass was key. The hydrilla is coming back strong on TB. Very easy to find.
