We had a hot spell lasting 4 days. The 5th day it had colled down a little and I was throwing a crusher football jig in grass craw color with a Rapala crush city craw trailer letting it rest on the bottom slowly pulling it to me then reeling the slack.

Targeting stumps on the edge of current using a warmouth looking bait because in the rivers around SENC the bass cannot stand them during late winter early spring. They get into the bass's home and destroy it just as bream would.
