During a league night here we were able to secure our limit by fishing the line of bouy's/ emergent vegetation that is between the white bear beach boat launch Ordway's Bar. We fished the the far west side, staying strictly on the north side of the bouy's.. See photo. Cast drop shots as close to the vegetation as possible, bounce slow reel ect, back to boat.. Roboworm worked best. We caught our limit here and lost a few decent ones. Not super easy to catch quality here from my experience, one or two kickers and you got a shot to win. 12-14 lbs.

The HCPA Team was out practicing at White Bear Lake today, fishing for Crappies. We were there from 4pm to around 6pm. We did not catch any Crappie but we did catch a few Northerns. The Crappies seem to still be staging and has not fully committed to spawn yet.
