It was a definite grind fishing the first club tournament of the year. Managed to barely put together a limit of 5 keepers by utilizing a texas rig and senko in and around submerged grass in 5 to 8ft of water.

Won my first tournament of the year with over a 16lb bag. Fishing was tough for rest of field but not for my partner and I. We threw jerkbaits and neds all day and found an expansive grass flat that held big prespawn fish. As always with this lake. Finding a way to separate yourself from everyone else was key.
