Largemouth BassTechniqueShallow Diving Crankbaits (0-6')SeasonSummerStructureRip RapKeyed on shad spawn early. Then moved to red clay banks, keying on windy points on those banks.

Largemouth BassTechniqueHard Topwater (Walking)SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructurePointsThe topwater bite on Clark’s Hill continues. We are seeing fish active on points with a few select fish showing up on humps. Cover water and make adjustments with weather conditions as the day progresses.

Largemouth BassTechniqueCarolina RigsSeasonSummerStructurePointsEarly in the morning fish can be caught up the creek arms in the grass on a hollow belly frog. These fish can be caught all day, but the better fish are being caught down the lake on long points throwing a C-Rig. Take your time and work these points good. You can catch multiple fish of of one spot.

Largemouth BassTechniqueHard Topwater (Walking)SeasonSummerStructurePointsFish are moving into pre-summer pattern but are still on points and humps. The 90 boat field as a whole, struggled. There are still fish chasing herring, but it's hit and miss and I think the warm up has finally done enough to start moving the fish off. I caught fish on a crankbait, a fluke, and a spook, in that order.

Largemouth BassTechniqueHard JerkbaitsSeasonSummerStructurePointsPoints and patience. Lots of twitching and pausing. Lots of follows. Stick with it, and they’ll eat. Water has cooled a little bit, morning bite is crucial to jump on them, then patiently work on upgrades.
- Species
Striped BassTechniqueSoft Body Swimbaits (Small/Medium)SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructurePointsWater was 68-69, and the striped bass were just off the points suspended in about 5-10 feet of water. If the largemouth bass didn't bite on top of the points, the striped bass would eat it off the points.
- Species
Spotted BassTechniqueSpoonsSeasonSummerStructureBrush PilesFlutter spoon worked well on brush in 20+ feet of water on main lake points. I could only get one off each pile, but the quality was good. Once you caught one offf a pile, you needed to move to a new pile and just run them in rotation.

Largemouth BassTechniqueSoft Body Swimbaits (Small/Medium)SeasonSpring (Post-Spawn)StructurePointsIt's been a werid spring. Water temps were 68-69 degrees on the main lake. Herring weren't pushed all the way up on the points, but the bass were in in 2-5 feet of water ambushing the swimbait bite. Wind was brutal, but the bite was worth it. Once the rain started around 1, the wind died down to be just right and the bite got even better.
