Some bass were creating beds. Some in flats with vegetation. Caught a lot of 16-17" bass. A couple in the 19 range.

The wacky rig is a huge deal this time if the year. Bass are flooding the bank and looking to spawn. Throwing this bait around you can easily pick up 20+ bass in 3 hours or so. The finesse style of this bait really makes these fish very vulnerable. You will need a 7’ medium heavy spinning rod with 10lb braid and 8lb Fluoro leader.

Fish were in post spawn and spawning conditions. Caught them mid lake coming into spawning pockets and ditches with stumps on edges. The bite seem to be better mid day.
