I have found that the spotted bass are schooling on/near main lake points(midlake). Use your electronics and mark bait balls with bass in the area and then work these points with mid-deep diving crankbaits keeping contact with the bottom from top to bottom. There are some smaller quality spotted bass hanging on the shoals around Queens Landing that bite pretty easily as they are roaming up and down the breaks. If the cranking bite slowdown, switch to a 3”-4” swim bait and burn it through the water column to get the reaction bite. On cloudy days this bite could last into late morning but if it is high sun then it turns off fast and you must look for deep shaded docks with current and go with a dropshot or a small swimbait.
