Had a few hours and spent the time trolling around the launch area, caught small males by the dam and a lot of walleyes. Good place to start but not a lot of fish around at the moment in this area.

With the average depth of 7 feet, I cast a mid diving Crankbait and slwly retrieve while performing a stop and go retrieve to hammer smallmouths at the small points around the flowage.

Using the reel to walk the bait was more effective then using the rod. The technique used was twitch twitch pause and most of the bass hit the lure on the pause.
