Fish were in a post spawn funk, I was finding them in or around healthy coontail. My best fish were coming out of the grass around 12-14ft flipping into the thickest patches I could find. Throw your jig in and wiggle it without moving the bait around to much and wait for a good thump.

July 6-10 Water temp 74-76 I fished docks and found largemouth holding on the deeper docks where the inside grass line comes up the the end of the dock. Shallow sandy docks were much less productive. I skipped a 1/2oz strikeking skipping jig in green pumpkin under and around docks. Also caught some fish throwing a keitech 3.8 swimbait on the inside weed lines on steep breaks.
