Simms was founded in 1980 by a forward-thinking fly fisherman, named John Simms, that wanted a higher quality wader than what was on the current market. Inorder to do this, Simms had to create a product that could hold up for the customers that would be using it over 150+ days of the year, regardless of weather conditions. Since 1980, Simms has proven to be the top producer of outdoor gear for the recreational user or the seasoned veteran.
