Best Tube Fishing Jig Head

The post spawn has the smallmouth bass moving to deeper water and scattered across the lake as they roam the weedlines and rock piles in search of cover and ambush points for their prey. Air temps were in the low 60s early morning, moving to 70s in the day. Water temps were low 60s at the catch locations. We found them in Anchor Bay in around 12-14FOW. Dragging tubes worked well, but so did swimbaits slow rolled deep. Colors that produced for the tubes were green pumpkin and the swimbaits were smallmouth magic. Once you find them, spot lock or anchor and just keep casting away. If you’re drifting, make several passes before moving on. Tight lines!

The good structure would reload every little bit."

Smallies were located on rock piles. Dragging tubes around produced big fish while ned rigs produced numbers.

I snuck to where the fish couldn’t see me and the flip the tube on her bed she ignored it for a minute but i hopped it to get her attention and then let it sit in the middle of her bed she eventually got fed up with it and ate it."
