Xavier Lortie
St. Lawrence River (NY)
Xavier Lortie reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Umbrella Rigs technique and Berkley Fusion19 Swimbait Jighead on St. Lawrence River. Additional comments from this report: "Craziest day of fishing ever. Huge east winds (against the current), huge waves and overcast! 53° water and murkier than usual. I was bombing my A-Rig all day and caught 27.33lbs with my buddy! More than 20 fish over 4 pounds. It was nuts. They couldn't stop biting it! The smallies would stage right on that edge of that flat close to deeper water!"
Strike King Squadron Swimbait Jig Head
$3.99

LakeDelavanKid
Rainbow Lake (WI)
LakeDelavanKid reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Umbrella Rigs technique and Strike King Squadron Swimbait Jig Head on Rainbow Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Throwing an A-rig from rainbow all the way to round produced all day with the sun out this place really lights up especially in the pre spawn stages. Although you catch a lot of 12-16inchers this place holds grown ones. "

KyleMolletFishing
Carlyle Lake (IL)
KyleMolletFishing reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Umbrella Rigs technique and Strike King Squadron Swimbait Jig Head on Carlyle Lake. Additional comments from this report: "If you want to catch a bunch of White Bass, just downsize your swimbaits. But if you don't want to catch the white bass, run the larger ones or that's pretty much all you'll catch. Most people don't know this technique works here because of that reason. However, the Largemouth are there, you just have to get your bait to them without the White bass getting it first."

Logan Martin Lake (AL)
Omnia Community Member reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Umbrella Rigs technique and Strike King Squadron Swimbait Jig Head on Logan Martin Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Caught them in 3 feet and less using a blade bait and an umbrella rig. Find pockets with bait fish and the bass will have them pushed up shallow."
Picasso Lures Smart Mouth Plus Fish Head Jig

Reported by
Bart
Grand Lake O' the Cherokees (OK)
Bart reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Umbrella Rigs technique and Picasso Lures Smart Mouth Plus Fish Head Jig on Grand Lake O' the Cherokees. Additional comments from this report: "Throwing an A-Rig on points/flat bank that ran right into a Channel Swing was about the only way to get bit down on Grand this early PreSpawn Time."

Reported by
Rich Lindgren
Wilson Lake (AL)
Rich Lindgren reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Umbrella Rigs technique and Picasso Lures Smart Mouth Plus Fish Head Jig on Wilson Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Mid November, water temps were in low to mid 60s. Tail race bite was just starting to pick up. Lots of white bass, with a few a largemouth & smallmouth mixed in. A-rigs with light heads and 3.8 Keitechs caught tons of fish and the action was steady. Looks for current seams. A-rigs with extra blades seemed to be best. Keitechs on single jig heads produced a few fish as well."

Reported by
Will Niebrugge
Guntersville Lake (AL)
Will Niebrugge reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Umbrella Rigs technique and Picasso Lures Smart Mouth Plus Fish Head Jig on Guntersville Lake. Additional comments from this report: "It's Alabama rig season! Lake Guntersville is where the craze started a decade ago and it is still a great place to throw it today. Look for fish that are grouped up in underwater ditches with submerged vegetation nearby. "

Final Flight Outdoors reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Umbrella Rigs technique and Berkley Fusion19 Swimbait Jighead on Watts Bar Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Pictures not much, just proof I did catch a few. Only place I could generate a bite was on bluff walls. Some at channel swings other times just in at transition’s in rock. It’s super muddy from all the recent rain. Tried some shallow rock throwing red craw colored Frittside5 with no luck."
