Additional comments from this report: "This 21incher is my new pb and the biggest of 5 caught today along with a 20incher this was my first time using a shakyhead jig and it paid off big time. The Yamamoto slink-o is a phenomenal bait I am sold on it what I love about it is that it has great action and it floats. When I was fighting these bass the worm would come off but since it floated I was able to snag it and get back that’s why I strongly recommend this bait definitely gonna get more in the future "

Binder Lake (MO)

Shakey heads fished slow. Cast up the bank and slowly retrieve. Sit in one spot for a minute and shake the tail of the worm. Usually bass will just suck the bait up and not strike. Watch for your line swimming and weight on your rod tip.

I also have had some quality bites on a Vision 110 +1 when there has been some wind. I find the fish are up a little in the water column with any wind lately."

Samuel Climer

Grapevine Lake (TX)

Samuel Climer reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Shakey Heads technique and WOO! Tungsten Shakey Head Jig on Grapevine Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Water temps 87-90 water clarity 1-2ft High winds are generally part of summer fishing on Lake Grapevine. I focus on ledges where the wind is hitting directly on the deep faces. Ledges do not have to be in deep water! Most of the “ledges” I fish are only about 10’ down and contain some sort of brush on them. A shaky head is my go to technique for summer fishing them. "
