Seth Akenson
Lake Waconia (MN)
Seth Akenson reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Ned Rigs technique and Z-Man NedlockZ HD Ned Head on Lake Waconia. Additional comments from this report: "Bass can be found schooled up on the edge most reefs on where weeds are adjacent to hard bottom. Most fish were caught on a ned jig with a senko or 6th sense ned fry 4.6 and there's no such thing as fishing this bait too slow. Bass were also feeding on bluegills that were eating gnats and flies. Throwing a weightless soft jerkbait in 12+ fow was a fun way to catch bass imitating bait fish"

Daniel Sidle
Lake Minnetonka (MN)
Daniel Sidle reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Ned Rigs technique and Outkast Tackle Perfect Ned Head on Lake Minnetonka. Additional comments from this report: "Working the inside turns of deep weed lines in 15-19ft of water. Find the bait and you find the fish. Could pluck one with the swim jig then spot lock and pull a few more off the same school with the ned. Water temps were 74 so fish are still in late summer patterns before the water turns. Lake was pretty quiet with schools starting up! Great time to be out. "

Rick Carlsen
Lake Minnetonka (MN)
Rick Carlsen reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Ned Rigs technique and Outkast Tackle Perfect Ned Head on Lake Minnetonka. Additional comments from this report: "Fish were still up shallow (7-12') with water in the 66-70F range. Inside weed lines on points gave up plenty of fish, but bigger ones were few and far between. If you see green slime, keep moving."

M T
Lake Vermilion (MN)
M T reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Ned Rigs technique and Z-Man Finesse ShroomZ Jighead on Lake Vermilion. Additional comments from this report: "This report is for 10/1/21 to 10/2/2021. Weather is unseasonable warm and humid, with on and off rain and drizzle. Huge algae bloom with bright green near shore. I think this warmth made the fishing a bit tough as the fish don't know if fall is coming or what is going on. Started out fishing with some chatterbiats and topwater with no luck. Noticed lots of walleye anglers fishing pretty deep so tried out fishing nearby for smallies, with a little luck on the drop shot around 15 to 20 feed deep. Overall fishing seemed pretty stingy. Finally started catching them on a ned rig near docks and some flats outside of spawning bays. Overall great trip, wished we would have caught a few more."

Omnia Community Member reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Ned Rigs technique and Z-Man NedlockZ HD Ned Head on Lake Minnetonka. Additional comments from this report: "6/30/22 Found them a little shallower tonight. 10-12 feet of water. Dragging chartreuse Ned heads through the weeds. Pull through the weeds and let it sit and that’s when they would bite. Even we’re successful with catching pike."
