A good day on the water for the second day of the season . Fishing around docks was good and later we drove over to the your boat club and smiths bay and it was really good. Docks were good but the roaming fish were still not eating. Looks for docks with weeds and in 6ft in the front and getting shallower toward the back of the dock. Fished the Tonka Classic and a few days leading up to it. The bite changed throughout the week but we found fish in holes fishing both the inside and outside week edges. Most my bites offshore were caught using a ned while a Texas rigged worm worked best for cover like docks and laydowns. There were a couple of smallies still shallow in sand. Fishing slow worked best
