Reported by
Nicholas Robinson
Burke Lake (VA)
Nicholas Robinson reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Texas Rigs (Worming) technique and WOO! Tungsten Painted Flipping Weight on Burke Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Covering water with a BigWorm (XZone Blitz Worm) and a Scounbug along with some secret baits resulted in a great day for catching fish. Fish on the southern side of the lake were keyed in on smaller baitfish and would only bite smaller profile presentations (110 Jr, 3.3” Keitech on an Underspin) Great fishing on a beautiful day. The Simms SolarFlex Guide Cooling hoodie was the MVP for the day and is a must have for any angler on the water, and more importantly in the sun, for extended periods of time. Prolonged post-frontal conditions didn’t have any effect on the bite. Cover water and get bit at Burke!"

Tim Miles reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Texas Rigs (Worming) technique and WOO! Tungsten Flipping Weight - Never Chip Series on Chesapeake Bay. Additional comments from this report: "Fished a club tournament on the Upper Bay out of Havre de Grace, MD on the hottest day of the year - 102 degrees and humid! The bite was difficult for most of the day. While I caught lots of bass, most were too short to keep. With 40 minutes left before weigh-in, I moved to a flat with flooded timber and hydrilla. I caught my 5-fish limit in 5 minutes off of a single laydown on 6 casts. All of my fish came on a Texas-rigged Berkley Power Worm in blue fleck. I rigged the worm on Mustad's new Alpha-Point Series Alpha-Grip Finesse Hook (3/0), and I can honestly say that I never feared losing a single fish. That hook is simply amazing!"
