VMC Tungsten Worm Weight

$4.49 – $7.89

Reported by
Matt S

Bryant Lake (MN)

Matt S reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Texas Rigs (Worming) technique and VMC Tungsten Worm Weight on Bryant Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Weather was clear and sunny with relatively low wind. Water visibility was 6-8ft in some parts of the lake. Caught a couple fish using a swimming worm on the outside edge of weedlines as well as one fish in 3ft of water. Caught one other bass off a dock with a weightless wacky rig. Saw several other fish in about 3ft of water near docks. Can't say I recommend going to this lake on a weekend - it was very busy with boat traffic, water skiers, and wave runners."

Harrison.Dau

Lake Minnetonka (MN)

Harrison.Dau reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Texas Rigs (Worming) technique and VMC Tungsten Worm Weight on Lake Minnetonka. Additional comments from this report: "The bass where sitting in the weeds and right on the edge of the weeds in 8-12 feet of water. I would cast into the weeds and let it sit for 10-20 seconds before starting to slowly drag the worm back to the boat. The fish would either hit it very hard or it would feel like a dead weight."

Reported by
Tucker Strande

Eden Lake (MN)

Tucker Strande reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Texas Rigs (Worming) technique and VMC Tungsten Worm Weight on Eden Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Main bites came from a Texas rigged Rage Bug hopping across the bottom with some additional decent fish on a chatterbait. Water is super clear right now and the weeds haven’t bloomed too bad yet. Fish seemed to be staging for spawn in 4-8 ft of water with a couple cruising a bit shallower. "

WOO! Tungsten Painted Flipping Weight

$4.19 – $11.99

Reported by
Cliff BUCK

Lake Independence (MN)

Cliff BUCK reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Texas Rigs (Worming) technique and WOO! Tungsten Painted Flipping Weight on Lake Independence. Additional comments from this report: "Hitting grass/moss edges 8'-12' deep as well as holes in matted grass."

Reported by
Dylan Welle

Lake Minnewaska (MN)

Dylan Welle reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Texas Rigs (Worming) technique and WOO! Tungsten Painted Flipping Weight on Lake Minnewaska. Additional comments from this report: "My partner and I had a tournament out there recently and we did fairly well! It was our first time ever fishing the lake and we approached it by fishing the deep weed lines and deep weeds in general. I fished a ned rig and a walking bait. My partner fished, a Texas rigged worm and creature bait. We moved very slow and made a conscious effort to pick everything apart and to rip our baits out of the weeds to trigger bites."

Reported by
Mark Ripp Outdoors

Pool 11 Mississippi River (IA)

Mark Ripp Outdoors reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Texas Rigs (Worming) technique and WOO! Tungsten Painted Flipping Weight on Pool 11 Mississippi River. Additional comments from this report: "Water temps have dropped to the low 70s and muddy on the main river. If you can find a mudline with clean water coming in from a slough that’s the juice. We found one such spot that had a nice flat with a rock pile that had fish grouped up. We put more than 40 fish in the boat off of one small area. We started with moving baits and cleaned up dragging a Tokyo rigged rage bug and a senko style bait. "

WOO! Tungsten Flipping Weight - Never Chip Series

$5.29 – $12.59

Reported by

Omnia Fishing reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Texas Rigs (Worming) technique and WOO! Tungsten Flipping Weight - Never Chip Series on Lay Lake.
