Northern Pike
Northern Pike, commonly called “Northerns” or “Pike”, are one of the fresh waters most aggressive fish. They can be found in all water conditions (lakes, rivers, streams) and tend to spend a lot of their time in weeds and vegetation. Their coloring allows them to blend in perfectly and ambush unsuspecting prey that get too close. Northern Pike can be caught on bright and fast moving lures like jerkbaits or spinnerbaits, these lures cause a reaction strike.
