Additional comments from this report: "Throwing the 3.5" cover scat around rocks and boulders near transitions from weed beds. Caught several 2-3# smallmouth bass weightless on a 3/0 ewg. Also caught a bunch of large rock bass in the process. Cover scat has been the most consistent heavy bait I've tried so far."

Additional comments from this report: "Had a good morning fishing from the pier again. most of the bass were caught on the Cover Scat. However, the largest was caught on the Senko. The color I used was my favorite, Watermelon/Green pumpkin (#912). A few things: The Gamakatsu 3/0 Hook is a perfect fit for the 3.5-inch Cover Scat & works well with the 5inch Senko. When using the #912 Senko, the dark side should be on top when rigging Texas Style"

Additional comments from this report: "Was semi slow, caught 4 in about 5hrs this 3lber being largest, walking shoreline casting to every log or fallen tree I saw, letting the danger sink all the way down and sit motionless for 5-10sec before twitching, most bites came in that time of sitting on ground, super slow was the key."

My biggest of the day was caught on an isolated grass patch. "
