Conditions were: overcast sky’s/light rain and an outgoing tide. Caught several bass and a couple snakeheads on the black buzz toad. I was fishing overtop of submerged Hydrilla. "

Additional comments from this report: "First summer derby of the year my buddy and I took the W throwing two baits. Put 17.37 lbs of river smallies in the box throwing a buzz bait and backing it up with a horny toad. It was mostly overcast allowing us to do it most of the day but when the sun peaked out we found shade and laydowns. We didn’t have a lunker but 5 really good quality fish. "

Additional comments from this report: "We had over cast all morning with 6-12 mph winds. I covered a lot of water in pockets off the main lake with any sort of little laydowns or shallow rock. The biggest key was fishing the windy side of the pocket, and that’s where the better quality bites came from. The lake has began its turnover, but the water in GA Little river still had some good clarity to it. It won’t be long before the lake looks like coffee. "

Additional comments from this report: "I saw water temps ranging from 74-78 degrees on 5/30/31 on the Georgia side of the lake up creek channels. I was targeting the remaining bluegill beds that I could find in shallow pockets. Even though the shad spawn has completed, I was able to catch a solid limit on a Greenfish Tackle Toad toter buzzbait nickel paired with a Zman Goat Toadz in white in water from 2 inches deep to 4 feet deep. If I got a bite on the buzzbait in a pocket, I would follow that up with the poppin frog to pick apart the area and get a bigger bite. "

Bass couldn’t resist a buzz bait thrown around emergent and semi-submerged vegetation. Bite was best during periods of full cloud cover. "

Additional comments from this report: "Found most fish on the outer edge of the lilly pads. Visuallly saw many larger fish, but they were not interested in anything i had to offer them. fish caught were in the smaller side 13"- 15"."

Mostly cloudy, south wind blowing a bit and a storm rolled in mid morning. I found several good fish at the edges of the reeds all along the bay. Buzzbait with a gold blade was the only one I threw. No skirt, toad trailer. Water clarity was fairly dirty for Mille Lacs. Anywhere the depth was closer to 5ft at the end of the reeds was better than the reeds that end in shallower water. "
