Zoom Horny Toad

$4.99

Reported by
Dustin Anderson

Lake Waconia (MN)

Dustin Anderson reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Buzzbaits technique and Zoom Horny Toad on Lake Waconia. Additional comments from this report: "Fished the pencil reeds on the northeast side. Caught many fish the first few hours of the morning with overcast skies. With the wind blowing directly into the reeds from the south I positioned my Kayak on the inside weed line and casted back into the reeds. This allowed me to bring the buzzbait back with the reeds blowing and bending my direction. This was very important and helped the bait through come through easier. Later in the day caught a few skipping docks with a wacky rig and also fishing a crankbait above weeds . "

Lake Fannie (MN)

JT_Fish1n reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Buzzbaits technique and Zoom Horny Toad on Lake Fannie. Additional comments from this report: "The north side bank near the launch is loaded with vegetation, some laydowns, etc. Threw a buzzbait all over this area, as well as on the north west arm of the lake, and had great success with numbers! "

Reported by
Ways Raasch

Big Stone Lake (MN)

Ways Raasch reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Buzzbaits technique and Zoom Horny Toad on Big Stone Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Had a great tournament throwing a buzzbait all day long. They were pretty grass oriented, the bite was better earlier on but they would still bite once the sun had gotten up. I'd pull that skirt off of the buzz bait and either throw on a black horny toad or in my case I ran out... a Z-Man Goat in Green Pumpkin seemed to work just fine, super-glue it on there, crank up the troller, and go crack em. "

Yum Tip Toad

$3.49

Reported by
@SUPn_nd_North

Mississippi River (Monticello to St. Cloud) (MN)

Had so much fun the weekend before. ..I wanted to do it again....started early in the am and didn't have much of a bite till after noon with the exception of a handful of pike on square bills....the smallmouth bite picked up just up river from snuffies landing and was lights out down river from there. Throwing buzzbaits in the eddys and brush piles was producing almost every cast for a while...paddle/float to the next spot that looked promising and bam get hit for one fish and some spots held two decent fish....had to cut the fishing short to meet my shuttle out of there at montesippi Park so I missed a lot great fishing...next time...

Reported by
Matt Kehrer

Mille Lacs Lake (MN)

Matt Kehrer reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Buzzbaits technique and Yum Tip Toad on Mille Lacs Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Fished Vineland bay for largemouth. Mostly cloudy, south wind blowing a bit and a storm rolled in mid morning. I found several good fish at the edges of the reeds all along the bay. Buzzbait with a gold blade was the only one I threw. No skirt, toad trailer. Water clarity was fairly dirty for Mille Lacs. Anywhere the depth was closer to 5ft at the end of the reeds was better than the reeds that end in shallower water. "

Christian Willen

Lake Shakamak (IN)

Christian Willen reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Buzzbaits technique and Keitech Fat Swing Impact 3.8" on Lake Shakamak. Additional comments from this report: "Had a great day on a not so typical pattern I get on at shakamak. Went to Lenape and cracked em on a buzzbait off of laydowns and points. Most of my bites came maybe 20 feet off the bank following the laydown so make sure to take advantage of your cast all the way boat đź‘Ť "

Will Burch

Dogwood Lake (IN)

Will Burch reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Buzzbaits technique and Keitech Fat Swing Impact 3.8" on Dogwood Lake.
