Additional comments from this report: "This lake appears to warm up quick & is ahead of other lakes in the metro. Water temps 65F. Few males guarding fry, but most of the fish seemed to be Post Spawn. Target wood surrounded by vegetation. Weedless wacky rig 5" Yum Dingers and pitch D-Bombs into the thicker clumps when required."

90 minutes dock fishing on Tonka landed us 10+ bass, most in the 15-17" range. Skipping wacky rigs proved to be the most effective for larger fish. Smaller fish came on drop shots
