Reported by
Dave Carroll

Lake St Clair (MI)

Dave Carroll reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Texas Rigs (Pitch/Flip) technique and Strike King Rage Bug on Lake St Clair. Additional comments from this report: "There is a very good population of largemouth on Lake St. Clair. They hardly ever get fished for and they chomp when you get a bait infront of them. I would find break walls, bridge pilings, docks and grass. If they had some current on them they were easy to catch. Flip or pitch your favorite jig in there and hold on. Also caught a few smallies this way. I'm a shallow guy so that's where I went looking. You can fish just about anyway you want up there and catch em."

Reported by
Brendan Best

Stony Creek Lake (MI)

Brendan Best reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Texas Rigs (Pitch/Flip) technique and Strike King Rage Bug on Stony Creek Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Had a tough morning bite and i couldn’t get the top water going. Decided to head out of the shallows to find the deeper patches with heavy vegetation and that was the key today. Fishing anywhere from 5-9ft. Any colors with blue or purple should work good in this stained water, and don’t shy away from a bait that has a lot of moving parts to disturb the water. Overall good day quality wise. i always recommend bringing extra rigs because i always seem to get bit off by a pike at least once. "

Strike King Rage Craw

$7.99

Reported by
Buckgossip

Ohio River

Buckgossip reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Texas Rigs (Pitch/Flip) technique and Strike King Rage Craw on Ohio River. Additional comments from this report: "Fish were tight to the cover. "

Reported by
Michael Becker

Oxbow Lake (OH)

Michael Becker reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Texas Rigs (Pitch/Flip) technique and Strike King Rage Craw on Oxbow Lake. Additional comments from this report: "What a great day on one of my favorite NW Ohio lakes, Oxbow Lake. Started out throwing the Core Tackle 1/8 oz Ozark rig with a green pumpkin Strike King Rage Craw around and under laydowns. It didn't take long to land the first bass. When there was too much cotton from the cotton wood trees to throw the baitcaster I switched to a whacky rigged, Z-Man ZinkerZ in green pumpkin or Junebug. This set up also netted it's fare share of bass. When I got to a section of the lake with rip rap banks I threw the Strike King KVD 1.0 Square Bill in Natural Bream. This netted quite a few bass and the largest by average for the day. A storm came through and after loading up the kayak I gave a try from the bank throwing the Strike King KVD Splash Topwater Bone / 3". I was amazed and thrilled that this quickly was catching fish and over the next hour I caught 15 total, and 10 all over 12 inches the biggest being 16 inches. "

Missile Baits D Bomb

Reported by
Alex Watts

Smith Mountain Lake (VA)

Reported by
Cam Steele

Lake Crabtree (NC)

Cam Steele reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Texas Rigs (Pitch/Flip) technique and Missile Baits D Bomb on Lake Crabtree. Additional comments from this report: "The water is not clear so you won't be sight fishing. Find the sandy bottom areas, stumps, laydowns, and find the male with a squarebill then get the female with the Tokyo Rig!"

Reported by
Asher Murphree

Guntersville Lake (AL)

Asher Murphree reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Texas Rigs (Pitch/Flip) technique and Missile Baits D Bomb on Guntersville Lake. It’s a fun way to catch them."
