Additional comments from this report: "Before the water got too muddy. We had a field day chasing these little guys off drop offs and out of brush piles! No giants but managed a few decent ones 13” & 14”. You had to suspend the bait almost completely still for a bite and it took some time for them to commit. But great day"

We used jig with bobbers about 3 foot down as well as just a small 3/16 oz jig head with red and yellow tube. Just casted to the weed line and slowly popped them back to the boat. jig head - 3/16 oz lure - red and yellow tube"

We found some at the middle lake boat ramp under the fishing pier docks. There is artificial structure around there and the crappies were holding tight. Used the Garmin Live scope to help with seeing the reaction to different baits"
