Additional comments from this report: "(6/10/2022 water temp low 70s) fished secondary points with a big swimbait looking for the right bites caught a few but not much wind blown banks and points got fish fired up to eat the big swimmer but if there wasn’t wind they lose interest. Dylan Sluis
Smith Lake (MN)
Dylan Sluis reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Soft Body Swimbaits (Large) technique and Megabass Magdraft Freestyle Swimbait on Smith Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Very good lake for some bass. Has a lot of smaller fish, but some better sized ones mixed in. Went out here on open water and put big swimbaits in my hand all day long. It is my favorite way to catch prespawn bass, and if you have never tried it. Definitely give the products above a try. All I was doing was working shallow flats with the magdraft, and if I found some isolated cover I would then pick up the S-Waver."
Strike King Rage Swimmer
$6.99

Reported by
Mike Schroeder
Wabedo Lake (MN)
Mike Schroeder reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Soft Body Swimbaits (Large) technique and Strike King Rage Swimmer on Wabedo Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Just before the bass start to bed slow winding these rage swimmers put out big numbers of bass on points or shoreline structure "

Reported by
Mike Joseph
Cass Lake (MN)
Mike Joseph reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Soft Body Swimbaits (Large) technique and Strike King Rage Swimmer on Cass Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Was on Cass Chain for a Bass Tournament. We did best for bass in areas with Reeds and a mix of rice and cabbage nearby. Had to move around and find areas with less active Pike to find the bass. Conditions were really tough, but the fish were definitely in the fall feeding season, pick the right day and the fish will be easier to catch and locate through the fall season in the shallow reedy areas."

Omnia Community Member
Mason Lake (WI) (WI)
Omnia Community Member reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Soft Body Swimbaits (Large) technique and Strike King Rage Swimmer on Mason Lake (WI). Additional comments from this report: "Summer fishing is again very slow now that the water temp has gone up. This is a very shallow lake with an abundance of stumps and submerged trees on the west end. Try fishing with a rage swimmer around cooler pockets of water near the spring inlets, especially in the early morning. Move farther off the point on the northcentral shoreline during evenings. You'll need to fish lower here, which can be very difficult with all of the stumps. Or try trolling around the edges of the stumpfields with a floating crankbait. "

KvN reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Soft Body Swimbaits (Large) technique and Megabass 6" Magdraft Swimbait on Crooked Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Threw the Megabass Magdraft 6'' along the edge of grass/vegetation. Throwing this swimbait with a Steez A TW reel and Megabass USA Destroyer Bunker Buster. If you don't have a dedicated swimbait rod, a heavy rig rod will do just fine. It might be intimidating to throw a bait this size but do not let it hold you back. They were choking it!"
