#nunzybaby
Saratoga Lake (NY)
#nunzybaby reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Bladed Jigs technique and Yamamoto Zako Swimbait on Saratoga Lake. Additional comments from this report: "The recent cold front made for some unfavorable fishing conditions; high winds and freezing cold temperatures overnight lowered the water temperature to 50-52 degrees on Saturday. Bass were found inside the weed line on the Northern most end of the lake. Plenty of Bass were caught using an 3/8 ounce Zman Jackhammer in Green Pumpkin with a Green Pumpkin/White Yamamoto Zako trailer. Stay in 3-6 fow and cast into the lighter colored water towards the edge of the submerged vegetation. Weed out the pickerel and you have steady Bass action for hours. "

Reported by
Jessie Hazen
Bean Pond (VT)
Jessie Hazen reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Bladed Jigs technique and Yamamoto Zako Swimbait on Bean Pond. Additional comments from this report: "Recently stocked with Largemouth Bass, this little hidden gem offers a fun day of fishing for anyone who enjoys kayak or canoe fishing. You won’t find anything over 3 pounds in here but the fish that are in here are highly aggressive and a range of baits can be thrown successfully. These fish tend to key on green pumpkin colors as well as black and blue. The summer topwater bite is next world here. Micro poppers and ploppers work best. Be ready though as these fish have no problem pulling you into underwater brush piles and breaking you off."
Z-Man RaZor ShadZ
$5.99

Reported by
GRAE BUCK
Potomac River (WV)
GRAE BUCK reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Bladed Jigs technique and Z-Man RaZor ShadZ on Potomac River. Additional comments from this report: "The 5th stop of the MLF Pro Circuit was on the Potomac River June 17-20th. I had a strong tournament finishing up in 27th place after catch 14.75lbs on day 1 and 2, then finished the tournament with just over 12lbs for a three day total of 41lbs 10 ounces. This event I had a 1/2oz green pumpkin Z-Man Jackhammer locked in my hand. I used a green pumpkin and hot snakes colored Razor Shadz as a trailer depending on the water clarity in the areas I was fishing. The hot snakes help the bait stand out a little better. The areas I was keying on were grass flats. There were little feeding windows throughout the day depending on the tide with the last two hours of outgoing seeming to be the best. If you want to learn more about how this tournament went and see the fish catches check out my YouTube channel, Grae Buck Fishing. Here is my practice and day 1 recap: https://youtu.be/CitcS0UfHG4"
