Reported by
Casey Lynch

East and West Harbor (OH)

Casey Lynch reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Bladed Jigs technique and Z-Man RaZor ShadZ on East and West Harbor. Additional comments from this report: "Fishing the Super BFL out of Sandusky Bay. We made the run to West Harbor. Each of us caught a keeper on a chatterbait in submerged grass right off the bat. We didn't get another bite there for a bit so we ran back to a pad field near a rip rap bank. I caught 2 more keepers, one on a Finesse TRD on a drop shot, and the other on a shakeyhead. Went back to the submerged grass on the way out and caught a couple more shorts."

Reported by
Katherine Field

Middle Harbor (OH)

Katherine Field reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Bladed Jigs technique and Z-Man RaZor ShadZ on Middle Harbor. Additional comments from this report: "This report is primarily for East Harbor, but also could apply for middle harbor as well. Bass are very active along edges of submerged vegetation in 5 to 12 feet of water, as well as the current edges of deeper channels. I caught bass using both finesse and power fishing methods in East Harbor. I had good success along the edges of the submerged weed lines with the ned rig as well as chatterbaits. In deeper channels I was able to target bass running chatterbaits along the edges of drop offs."

Ohio River

Omnia Community Member reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Bladed Jigs technique and Z-Man RaZor ShadZ on Ohio River. Additional comments from this report: "Biting pretty good on white n chartreuse zman jackhammer with razor shaz in shad colors as trailer. Soon as water got to about 58 degrees. Before that, picking few off with football jigs around rock humps and rock bars. Finding a good eddy that comes off the main river right at end of rock bar or little below it. Hit the eddy , cast up river let the jackhammer comeback to you at about same speed as current. No takers, then I'd fish rock bar with green pumpkin with a liteorange dyed in tips of skirt.. juice with a little bait fuel, fuel, like I saidat 58 degrees bass starting get alot more aggressive. Before the 48 degree mark, only get few bites a day fishing bridge pilings and deeper structure in the 8- 20 foot range."

KT reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Bladed Jigs technique and Hog Farmer Bait Company Spunk Shad Pintail on Chickamauga Lake. Additional comments from this report: "I have several Lew’s reels, and rod, I was using my classic pro yesterday and a big 4lb LM bass hammered my chatterbait. My Lew’s reel got the big one to the boat with little effort. Most fish I’m catching are on hard bottom, shallow water and grass areas. Fish are very active and chasing shad, September is a great month to catch a lot of fish."

Bmorris07 reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Bladed Jigs technique and Hog Farmer Bait Company Spunk Shad Pintail on Clarks Hill Reservoir. Additional comments from this report: "The water was pretty stained in the backs of creeks along the GA little river, so I chose to cover water and not try to sight fish. The day was pretty productive with the larger bites coming from shallow pockets located near the creek mouth. There was a 5-7 mph wind with 15 mph gusts out of the north west, and blue bird skies most of the day."
