Additional comments from this report: "The bass are starting their fall feeding. I was able to find some schools of bass in moderately deep water. You have to let the spoon flutter all the way to the bottom with a semi slack line. once on the bottom, give the line two quick jerks and let it flutter back down."

Additional comments from this report: "I was fishing out in open water in 20’ depth spotting the schools of shad than casting the silver and orange spoon out letting it sink 5’ and than a slow retrieve. Large mouth bass and hybrids were mixed. 10am - 1pm was when they were hitting "

Additional comments from this report: "Just fished for a few minutes last night landing a couple nice spotted bass. I was blind on the lake, no electronics on this trip so it was but still wanted to fish offshore. I started seeing bait flickering on top, I would throw the spoon near these bait balls and the spotted bass were hammering it on the fall. The other key pattern was the keitech on the dirty jigs jig head, when the bass would come up schooling on the surface the spoon would not get touched but the swimbait was the ticket, it was not a straight retrieve generating bites though, I would have to pump/jig the swimbait to get bit."
