Additional comments from this report: "The water north of the 44 bridge is still really muddy, so I stayed south of the bridge focusing on docs that had deeper water near by. $150.00 – $160.00

Reported by
Michael Rekas
Pool 1 Mississippi (MN)
Michael Rekas reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Finesse Jigs technique and St. Croix Mojo Bass Casting Rods on Pool 1 Mississippi. Additional comments from this report: "As the water has continued to cool the fish have begun feeding on slower moving baits. The finesse jig has done great this week, catching me good numbers. Slowly dragging the jig through the rock has generated the most bites. Bites were also common as I crawled the jig up and over the backside of boulders. For colors stay natural, green pumpkin, PB&J, and browns have all worked. Good luck!"

Reported by
Jim Hickey
Otter Pond (NH)
Jim Hickey reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Finesse Jigs technique and St. Croix Premier Spinning Rods on Otter Pond. Additional comments from this report: "Fished shoreline cover included laydowns, boulders, grass patches with a "scent-enhanced" Zoom speed craw rigged weedless on an Owner Finesse jighead in 1 to 4 feet of water. Worked laydowns from deep end in to bank swimming it over branches and letting it free fall to bottom. Also swam/drug jig along bottom until contacting weeds or rocks then try to pop free and settle back to bottom. Though most bass (including a few smallmouths) hit around cover, a couple chased and ate the craw when swimming back to make next cast. "
