Shimano Expride B Casting Rods

$329.99 – $339.99

Reported by
Niko Kitsinis

Thomas O. Marsh Park Pond (OH)

Niko Kitsinis reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Jerkbaits technique and Shimano Expride B Casting Rods on Thomas O. Marsh Park Pond. Additional comments from this report: "This is probably near the end of this technique being effective but it is insanely good at this lake. They seem to really love the Tablerock SP color. I caught 15-20 this trip. I have been catching them all spring on jerkbaits right above the grass flats. Ideally you would just tag the tops of grass but not get stuck in it. The fish will usually come out of the grass for it. The grass is already within 4’ of the surface and 6’ in the deeper areas. Once any more grass comes in the jerkbait won’t be easy to use there. "

Reported by
Dupree

Lake St Clair (MI)

Dupree reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Hard Jerkbaits technique and Shimano Expride B Casting Rods on Lake St Clair. Additional comments from this report: "If you can find rocks in 6-10 feet on the mile roads, doesn’t matter if chunk or boulders, you’ll find fish!! Loved the Vision 110 on Saturday morning. The water clarity was gin clear at some points, and murkier at others, doesn’t matter, it seems the natural colors (Shad and perch) of my jerkbaits did the best. Nailed the pictures 4.5 pounder on the Pro Perch color. My 6’10 M Expride and 71MGL also fought the beast perfectly. Highly recommend that combo for any northern fisherman throwing jerks. "

Reported by
Phelptwan

Fish Lake (MI) (MI)

Phelptwan reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Jerkbaits technique and Shimano Expride B Casting Rods on Fish Lake (MI). Additional comments from this report: "Had a great day out with the smallest. Water temps hovering right around 61°, air temp a bit cooler. A slight breeze from the North West putting a little motion on the surface. Started the day off pretty quick with a bass on a wacky rig and then another on a t-rigged stick bait. From that point on it was pretty much the Jerkbait for the rest of the day. Every 6-10 minutes I hooked up with another bass on the 110 SR. The jerkbait far exceeded my expectations. I caught 15 total on it during the ~3.5 hours we were out. We caught a few on frogs, ned's, stickbaits as well. And my little angler in the photo managed to outfish my co-angler again."

Megabass Levante Casting Rods

$199.00

Reported by
WV/TN Bassin

LoganWolf

Eagle Creek Reservoir (IN)

LoganWolf reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Jerkbaits technique and Megabass Levante Casting Rods on Eagle Creek Reservoir . Additional comments from this report: "The bite was great on the 110 Jr. +1. The BB1 pro does a good job of handling the unpredictable nature of casting jerkbaits. Great reel."

Reported by
Tin Ngou

Lake Norman (NC)

Tin Ngou reported catching Spotted Bass using the Hard Jerkbaits technique and Megabass Levante Casting Rods on Lake Norman. Additional comments from this report: "Double up for the first time! It was a slow morning of summer fishing around a boat launch. I was throwing the flicker minnow around docks and I caught this tiny spotted bass first. Then as I was reeling in the small one a big spot came out from under the dock and try to get the bait out the small ones mouth and got hooked. With the water being so warm, I was working the bait pretty fast. I was throwing it on a megabass levante with a slx reel. I had 12lb fluro on it."
